Hi Denise,
Thanks for the packages. Everyone loves the letters. I hope things are going well for you. This is my favorite time of year in Utah. Here in Iraq it's still about 110, but it seems cool compared to what we had earlier. I'm attaching a photo taken yesterday of me and my new best friend Chuck Norris (I'm on the left!!!) . Send it to Wendy. I still haven’t heard from her.
Smiles"

Letters to Soldiers started by Cinderella gets 100s of letters out to soldiers in Iraq weekly. Over 500 letters have been collected in past month. Cinderella attends Festivals, Conferences and other events throughout Utah with a table for the public to write letters to soldiers and any donations go to buying supplies soldiers cannot find in Iraq like Jerky, Dried Fruit, paperback books, homemade cookies and other things they ask for.
Cinderella and some of the Soldier and Cinderella team members are going to throw a "Welcome Home Troops" Celebration in 2008 and any funds raised will be donated to the families of fallen and disabled Iraq Veterans.
Cinderella is in touch with National Guard Recruiting Officer to work on this project.
Cinderella collects Letters to Soldiers for 3 days at Freedom Festival while Todd fights in 140 degree weather. No news for 9 days now.
Cinderella was invited by the Provo Freedom Festival to have her "Letters to Soldiers" booth for 3 days at the Festival. She was so busy working the booth by herself that she did not worry so much about not having heard from Todd in Iraq for 9 days. The news reported our Troops in a big fight with Al Quaida this week, and Cinderella is sure Todd was part of that. It would be nice to hear from him. " sure have a lot of empathy and appreciation for the difficulty it must be for you soldiers fully dressed with 100 lb. packs, in 140 degree weather with sand blowing, no sleep, working over 12 hour shifts with no days off for 15 months straight. How can the ARMY and our Commanders expect this out of you guys?I set up my Letters to Soldiers booth at the Provo Freedom Festival the last three days. The first day was only 4 hours, and then yesterday I did 10 hours and collected 74 letters, and today 8 hours plus walking the parade, and I collected only 45 letters. I did not hit my goal of 150 letters but it was still wonderful to see all these kids and families sit to write you guys how much they appreciate you and pray for you. Many tell me they have wanted to write you supportive letters but did not know where to send them and thanked me for doing this. It is the least I can do while you serve under such extreme conditions.
Many gave us words of appreciation for your service and the Marine Corps and Air Force ROTC also came to write letters and gave me things to give out. The Air Force ROTC mascott “Ricky” also came by the booth. Many are going to attend our Cinderella Reception Ball in the Fall and are watching www.soldierandcinderella.info site for updates. WE hope to have many service men and women at the Ball and to kick off raising a Million Dollars for the families and Veterans of this War in Utah over the next year and plan a “Welcome Home Troops Celebration” next year which you will be welcomed home at too like the Hero you are.
I love doing this service and sending all the support to you and your fellow Troops. I will be getting these letters and over 50 more I have collected the last two weeks with a packages of goodies. I hope you got the last package with flags for the Troops and letters for the 4Th of July. This was the most special 4th of July for me with you fighting for our freedoms. I pray for you and am so proud of you. I wish I could do more to ease what you must be going through. I can’t wait to marry you and show you how much I appreciate all you do."
